The Calendar below will show you when our classes will be taking place. You can click the arrows as the top to move to a new month! These classes offer different experiences and learning opportunities about plants and much more! More information for each class is provided below the calendar.

  •  Decorate and design your own succulent garden! This would make a great edition to your family

  • We will be hosting this class on January 18th at 11:00am. Pre-registration is required.

  • You can choose from different pots

Wildflower Seed Ball Class

  •  Learn how to make your own Wildflower seed balls to plant!

  • It is the perfect time of year to plant wildflowers, get ahead with this class!

  • This class will have you making around 6 to 10 seed balls depending on the size you make it. All materials will be provided 

  • We will be hosting this class on January 25th at 11:00am. Pre-registration is required.

Terrarium Class

  •  Design your own ecosystem! 

  • This in depth class will have you design your own ecosystem with many different layers and plants

  • There are 2 sizes to choose from

    • 2 Gallon: $41.99

    • 1 Gallon: $37.99 

  • We will be hosting this class on February 8th and 15th at 11:00am. Pre-registration is required, as there is limited available.

Soil Prep Class

  •  Learn how to prepare for the gardening season! 

  • Get expert advice and tips on how to prepare the soil for the best tasting and growing plants!

  • This class is free and a guide will be provided 

  • We will be hosting this class on March 1st at 11:00am.  

  • Items being demonstrated will be 20% off after the class.

Seed Starting Class

  •  This class will teach you how to prepare your vegetable and fruit seeds to be planted in spring!

  • Using biodegradable trays, seeds will be planted indoors and start growing before they are planted outside when the weather warms up enough. 

  • This class will teach you how to plant indoors, care for, and plant outdoors.

March 15th

St. Patrick's Day Coin Hunt 

  • The leprechaun himself has hidden gold coins all around Mortimer Nursery!

  • Each coin has a different prize associated with it so try your luck and maybe you'll find the top prize!

Rose Pruning Class

  • Our experts will be having a class on pruning rose bushes.  

  • Learn new techniques and tips that you will use for years to come.

Fruit Tree Class

  • This class is all about Fruit Trees! Our experts will teach you how to take care of your fruit trees and have a plentiful Harvest

  • During this class we will be offering a deal of a lifetime. Save over 100$ with the expert knowledge and tree package of a 15g tree of your choice along side lodge poles!

Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny

  • Mortimer Nursery is hosting the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt! 

  • Bring your baskets and search for the eggs the Easter Bunny has hidden all across the Nursery. 

  • The Easter Bunny will also be present ready to help hunt with eggs and take pictures!
